However, due to the wacko economy (no, I won't go into politics!) my parents don't wish to pay the $2.99 per bottle. So I have two choices- finally apply for a job (not that I'll get one... but at least I tried) and pay for them myself or find something just as enjoyable but cheaper. So for $2.00 a bottle I can get the Bolthouse version. Sounds good right? Well there are a few differences. The Bolthouse doesn't come in as nice a package and looks like psychedelic orange paint while the Naked comes in a rad bottle and looks more like melted dreamsicle. So decide for yourself- are you willing to spend $.99 extra for better looks (and slightly smoother taste) or would you get used to the Bolthouse? Personally, I think I'll just save the Naked for special occasions!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://emotionalmargins.blogspot.com/2009/06/but-id-rather-get-naked.html' title='But... When dad and I got in the kayaks the tide was just high enough for our lift to be submerged and the kayaks to float off. When we got back and hour and half later the water had gone down so much that the lift was on dry land! Now, normally this would not be a big deal. We would pull the kayaks up to the shore, get in the water and put them back on the lift. Thing is... our dock is on a huge clam bed.

We thought for a moment then decided that dad would get out and try to put his kayak on while I docked mine on the clam bed. Then I would get out and swim mine over to the lift and put it on. We didn't think enough apparently, dad got his kayak on alright but he didn't have to walk through the clam bed. The second I got out of the kayak my feet started to get sucked in by the thick gloppy mud. I was up to my knees in mud and sharp clam shells, I couldn't get my feet out of it because it was sucking me in! Finally I got out of it and got my kayak on the lift. I got up the ladder before dad did and sliced my thumb on some sharp metal. I looked down at my legs to see that they were covered in blood! But cleaning off the kayaks had to be first priority. Dad couldn't get his leg up on the ladder so he stood on the lift while I brought it up.

My legs didn't hurt too much... until I cleaned them with hydrogen peroxide XP All in all it was an interesting adventure! The kayaks were pretty dirty though, since dad didn't have any cuts he stayed behind and cleaned them off. Well, that's all for today! I'm going kayaking tomorrow so there may be another story :) (let's hope not! Lol)

Introduction!

Hey! Welcome to the blog, you may be wondering why my margins are emo.... well I tell you!

Of course, not emo as in cutting and writing sad poetry. Emotion in the Margins is actually a phrase taken from The Princess Bride and twisted for my use! This phrase is a lot like me, I generally set aside my feelings and emotions and put them in the "margins" for those people who want to go further. Time for an example: Say you're reading a book (a foreign concept to most.... I know) and some one has already written notes or doodled or highlighted this book. We'll call this the emotion in the margins! ( Because it sounds way more spiffing then "doodles on the page")

Alright, stick with me here....if we can see the book and it's original writing as the things we say/do then it stands to reason that the things in the margins are the things we think/feel. Tada!

This blog is about the original text and the margins! (Not many people pay attention to my margins.... oh well) The blog will follow all happenings (drama free of course!) of my highschool years. Starting with my first Endless Summer :) Normal things every high school girl goes through, with a funny twist and half as much drama (this is better left on the stage...)!
